  • Angel Tree Tags Due by Dec. 11
    The Angel Tree tags for Muse Elementary School need to be returned by Dec. 10 and 11 so they can be taken to the school the week of Dec. 12 Any questions, contact John Miller at 724-746-4042.
  • Register now for Discovering Christ Series
    Registration form 
     Discovering Christ Series coming in January—Holy Rosary will be hosting the Discovering Christ series from the ChristLife evangelization ministry this coming Jan.12 through Feb. 23, 2017.
    Discovering Christ is a seven-week program that combines prayer, talks, sharing and fellowship meals. The ministry will be open to those seeking a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and his Church, including anyone who has been away from their Catholic faith. 
  • Feedback needed for draft models of church
    Thank you to everyone who came to support Holy Rosary at the On Mission Parish Consultation Sessions Monday and Tuesday. God bless you.
    For those who could not attend, information and feedback packets are available in the back of the church. Please return to the church and we will mail them for you. The draft models for Vicariate 3 also will be posted at http://onmissionchurchalive.org/vicariate-3-parish-models/ on Friday, Oct. 28.

    These models are incomplete until all feedback is reviewed and considered. Bishop Zubik will announce his decisions in March 2018. Your input is vital to the success of this planning initiative
  • Mass times for Immaculate Conception
    The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is Dec. 8 and is a Holy Day of Obligation.
    Mass times are at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 and at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8.
    The Catholic Church celebrates the belief that the Virgin Mary was conceived free from all stain of original sin so as to be a fitting mother for the Son of God.
    Her Immaculate Conception is universally celebrated on Dec. 8, nine months before the feast of the Nativity of Mary, which is celebrated on Sept. 8.
  • Raffle tickets sold out, winner announced Dec. 17
    Helping Angel Quilters have sold all tickets.  The winner will be announced Dec. 17.  Thank you for your support of Project Linus.

  • Confessions available Dec. 14
    This Advent season, each Catholic parish in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, including Holy Rosary, will have their doors open and lights from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14.
    If you have been reluctant to come to the sacrament, have been away for some time or just found it difficult to get to a Saturday afternoon confession time, this is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with Christ and His Church. 
    "The Light is On for You!,” especially if you haven’t been to confession in a while.
  • Cookie sale to benefit Youth Group, City Mission
    Youth Group Annual Cookie Sale will take place  this month.  All orders and payments are due by Sunday, Dec. 11.  Pick-up will be from 6:30  to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22. If you would like to send cookies to the Washington City Mission, please fill out the order with  payment. These orders will be delivered on Dec. 24.
