  • On Mission for Church Alive consultation sessions Oct. 24 & 25
ON MISSION FOR THE CHURCH ALIVE! enters an important phase this fall in our parishes. Everyone’s participation will be critical. Parishes will offer consultation sessions to share draft proposals of new models of ministry. These proposed models are designed to help our faith community become an even more vital center of worship and service, and bring people closer to Jesus. The On Mission Consultation Sessions for Holy Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 and 25.
Please save the dates and plan to attend one of our parish consultation sessions. Learn more about this important initiative at www.OnMissionChurchALive.org

  • Come join Christian Mothers
To all women of Holy Rosary Parish—Please consider giving back to your church and praising God by becoming a member of the Holy Rosary Christian Mothers/Altar Society. The next meeting is Monday, Oct. 10 and we would love for you to join us.
CMAS meets the second Monday of each month September through May. We begin with the Rosary at 6:40 p.m. in the church followed by Mass at 7 p.m. A meeting takes place after Mass to discuss future plans and enjoy dessert. An Advent Dinner will be held on Dec. 6 at Atria's, Peters Township.
In addition, the organization sponsors a variety of spiritual and charitable events. They include the Election Day Spaghetti Dinners, May Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary, supplying linens and flowers for the altar, supporting other church functions plus donating money for baptismal gifts and First Holy Communion gift sets.
During this new year, we hope you meet new friends who will reinforce, support and encourage the monumental roles you have as a Catholic woman  whether married, unmarried or widowed.  For more information, call Carol at 724-263-1400.
