  • On Mission and Mass Intentions for 2018
Bishop Zubik has announced the following dates for the On Mission for The Church Alive! process:

Thursday, April 26, 2018 – Bishop Zubik will announce final parish groupings, the categories (expected time to reach the beginning of a new parish from the grouping), clergy assignments and the maximum number of Masses for each parish grouping.
At present, Holy Rosary is in the parish grouping which also includes St. Patrick, Canonsburg, and Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, Meadowlands. A parish grouping is a collection of individual parishes in a common geographic area proposed to become one parish over time.
Monday, October 15, 2018 – The new parish groupings, clergy assignments and Mass schedules become effective.

Be aware that Holy Rosary is accepting Mass intentions for 2018. However, in the fall of 2018, in light of the On Mission for The Church Alive! initiative, Mass schedules in parishes around the Diocese of Pittsburgh, including Holy Rosary, are subject to change.
Because most parishes will see changes to the number of Sunday and weekday Masses and even different Mass times, those requesting a Mass intention after Oct. 14, 2018 should be aware of the possible changes.
This means that while we will make every effort to honor the scheduled time and date for Mass intentions, the time of the Mass you have requested and even the date or location may need to change. Also, it may be possible that your intention would be combined with other intentions at the same Mass. We will keep you informed about these changes as they become available to us.
  • Newly Baptized Reception Jan. 21

One of the many blessings Holy Rosary receives is a baptism in the family of a parishioner. To celebrate and welcome the newly baptized of this past year and their families, the Martha and Mary Ministry will host a reception in the New Hall on Sunday, Jan.21 after the 11 a.m. Mass.

All parishioners are welcome to congratulate the newest members of our parish family at this joyous event.
