Baccalaureate Mass and Breakfast
Mission Statement
We, the youth of St. Patrick Parish are driven by the power of Jesus Christ to pray, to serve and to grow in our faith. With Christ like actions we reach out to our community through ministry, education, and social activities. Together we hope to grow not only in numbers but also in faith, hope and love.
Edge: Middle School Youth Ministry
All 7th and 8th graders are welcome to attend our Edge program. Edge sessions are composed of games, prayer, teachings, small groups, and interactive activities. It is not too late to register for this school year. For more information about Edge please click here or contact, Sean. Attendance for 8th graders is required for those who wish to be Confirmed in 9th grade.
High School Youth Group
Is for all students in grades 9-12. Our focus is on Spiritual Growth, Serving Others, and Social Outreach Events. General meetings for all high school teens are on the third Sunday of the month in the Teen Room in St. Patrick Center, from 6:30-8:00 pm. We also participate in Diocesan enrichment events for high schoolers, such as Faith Afloat, Called by Name, XLT Festivals of Praise, and Mission Trips in the summer.
Teen Mass
We will have a Teen Mass typically the first Sunday of the month at St. Patrick Church at 5:00 pm. Teens in grades 7 through 12 will have leadership roles at this Mass as Greeters, Readers, Ushers, Cantors and Ensemble members; students who have already been Confirmed may serve as Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. Father's homily will focus on your needs as well. All are welcome at this Holy Mass, and teens are particularly encouraged to come to this Mass. Following Mass, we will have High School Youth Group open to all 9th-12th graders at St. Patrick Center till 7:30. Please see the calendar below for dates for the Teen Masses.
Cinqo de Mayo Fiesta
On May 5th, join us in The Parish Center for a Cinqo de Mayo party! There will be fun and games, music and fellowship, and, of course, lots of food! Bring a friend! This event is open to all students in grades 7-12 and their families!
Annual Youth Rally & Mass For Life
We will have a bus leaving from St. Patrick Church to take us to the Youth Rally and Mass for Life at the Captial One Arena (formally known as Verizon Center) in Washington, D.C. After Mass, we will join others in the March for Life. Cost is $20 for an individual or $40 for two or more. Permission Forms for students and Consent Forms for adults are available here in the church vestibules and on the parish website each year. Adults must have proper clearances to participate. -
